HOLLYWOOD CLUB
Our
original – flagship group for high school students (9th through 12th
grade) who live in the Phoenix / Mesa metropolitan area. In the Hollywood Club,
we get together to watch new movie releases at the theatres, and DVDs of both
contemporary and classic films. We’ll talk about what we’ve seen, and what
makes a good movie. We also have career information for those students who are
considering a career in the entertainment industry. Membership is free –
we simply ask that you read and understand the
Basics, then download and
print out the
New Member Sign-Up Form, fill it out and mail it back to us or give it
to one of our Club Sponsors.
DIRECTOR'S CUT
The
Director’s Cut is our group for parents and adult volunteers/leaders age 18 and up with a passion for
Hollywood. Here you’ll find a more in-depth discussion and analysis of both
classic and contemporary films. Learn how to find God in the movies and how to unpackage the messages that Hollywood filmmakers are conveying in their films.
Find direction and information for your college/career-bound son or daughter.
Spend time with us praying for the world’s most influential mission field: the
media and entertainment industry. And of course, plenty of food, fun and
fellowship! All this and more, at a level designed specially for adults!
Once
you have joined, you will begin receiving regular e-mail updates on upcoming
events, including member prayer requests, and become eligible for Club
recognitions and rewards, as well as various contests and prizes from time to
time. You will also be invited to
special Club events such as our annual Christmas party and annual Academy Awards
banquet.
We
